Easter Closure
The Swimming Club will be closed over the Easter holidays.
The last training session will be on Wednesday 23rd March 2016 and the first session back will be on Tuesday 5th April.

Increase in Fees
At our recent A.G.M. it was decided to raise our annual membership fees by £5 and increase the price for each session to £3.50. The increase will commence when we resume our sessions in the New Year.

Distance Awards 2015
See 'Swimming Distance Awards' section in the members area for details of distance awards completed by swimmers on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th December.

Swimmer Awards
See 'Swimmer Awards' section in the members area for awards presented at the Christmas disco and medals won from the League Galas.

Club Volunteers
The club is looking for any parents that may be interested in taking up roles within the club such collecting money off swimmers on entry, teaching (course and qualification paid by the Club), roles within the Committee with current vacancies for a Welfare Officer and Competitions Secretary. Should anyone be interested in assisting then please speak to one of the Club Officials.

It is some time since we had a newsletter and it is our intention to produce a newsletter on a regular basis to keep everyone informed about what is happening at the club.

Radcliffe Swimming Club Annual General Meeting
The AGM will be held on Monday 7th December 2015 at 7pm at Elton Vale Sports Club, Elton Vale Road, Bury, BL8 2RZ.
All paid up members of the swimming club are welcome to attend.

Distance Badge Sessions
We are going to hold two distance badge days on Saturday 12th December 2015 at Castle Leisure Centre and Sunday 13th December 2015 at Radcliffe Pool.

New Leisure facilities in Radcliffe
Bury Council have just announced two new developments schemes are being planned for Radcliffe.
One of these is a new combined sport, fitness and leisure centre.
The plan is to redevelop the site where the former Radcliffe Pool on Green Street is. Demolition of this site will begin in early 2016.
