Time trials and Speed awards

This Saturday 2nd June we will be hosting a time trial and speed awards session. The time trial aspect is crucial for us to track the progress of our swimmers and to aide our team manager with gala squad selections. The speed awards is something for the swimmers. Each 25m timed length will be assessed against Swim England speed awards criteria. If the swimmer achieves the standards then they will have the opportunity to order the certificate/badge for each stroke where the criteria was met. There are Gold, silver and bronze awards up for the taking.
The session is aimed at all swimmers from Stage 4,5,6, CL1 and CL2. The cost of the event is the usual training cost of £3.50. Once the event is complete we will collate the times for the swimmers and will publish them in the members area of the website. You will then have the opportunity to order the speed awards.
We would also like to call upon parents for your assistance. In order to run these events, it takes a number of volunteers to help organise the swimmers poolside, people to time keep etc. If you feel that you could assist in any capacity, please drop us an email to
