Radcliffe Club Championships 2017

Saturday 11th November 2017 at Castle Leisure Centre 5pm ( registration from 4.30 - 4.50pm )
Eligibility for Club Championships
To enter the Club Championships there is an Entry fee of £8 for upto four events, £10 for five or more events.
The criteria for who is eligible to enter the Championships is governed by the clubs By-Laws and as such swimmers must meet the following criteria in order to enter.

Have been a member for a period of at least 3 calendar months and their 2017 membership fee paid

How to Enter
Complete the online form by entering the details and ticking next to the Events you want to enter. You will then receive an email with your responses.
On the day of the event you will need to arrive at the venue from 4.30 - 4.50pm to register and also pay the entry fee ( last registration 4.50pm as it will be a 5pm start ).
Age as on 31st December 2017 and
- The minimum age for entry is 9yrs old on the day of the event
- 12 years and under may enter the open events (may not enter the 14 years and under events)
- 14 years and under may enter the open events
Last day for entries is Tuesday 31st October 2017. No late entries will be accepted.
ASA Technical rules will be in force for all events
Awards
- All events will be heat declared winner
- The first three in each event will receive a medal
- In certain events trophies will be awarded to the winners (see event list )
In addition to the trophies named, the following trophies will be awarded to the overall age group champions:
Tootill Trophy – awarded to the swimmer who obtains the most points in the open events based on:1st – 3pts, 2nd – 2pts, 3rd – 1pt
Howarth’s Shield – awarded to the runner up to the winner of the Tootill Trophy but for the opposite sex
Centenary Trophies will be awarded to the overall champions in the boys and girls 12yrs and under age group and to the overall champions in the boys and girls 14yrs and under age group. These awards will be based on 1st – 7pts, 2nd – 6pts, 3rd – 5pts, 4th – 4pts, 5th – 3pts, 6th – 2pt and 1pt for every other finisher.
All trophies will be presented at the Clubs Presentation and Disco Evening on 2rd December 2017 for which tickets will be released soon.
